Opening the competition game uses no attempt. An attempt is used only when you confirm an official start. Unused attempts stay saved if your token holding falls below the requirement.
WEEKLY PRIZES
Shares apply to the weekly prize pool. Payouts are manual. Unawarded shares remain in the pool.
Equal official scores share a rank. Prizes for the places occupied by a tie are added together and divided equally among all tied players, including the last paid place. Two players tied for first share the 1st and 2nd prizes; the next player ranks 3rd. Amounts are rounded down to the nearest lovelace; any remainder stays in the pool.

How NUMBathlon points work
Best verified result per sport. 1st: 100 points, 2nd: 90, then 10 fewer per place through 10th: 10. Every other valid ranked result earns 1 point. Tied players share the average points for their occupied places. Fouls, expired runs and scores awaiting review earn no points.
Get a valid verified result in every selected sport to qualify for the overall ranking and rewards. Players still completing the event appear below qualified players. Rankings update until the event is ended, reviewed and locked. Each new event starts fresh.
Paid initial entry gives one pack in each selected sport. Extra packs apply only to the chosen sport. The per-sport pack limit includes the initial pack. An attempt is used when you confirm an official start, including a foul, quit, refresh or crash.
